Keith returned to Carbondale Community High School, where he’s an alumni and Hall Of Fame inductee, to perform the National Anthem at the Annual Illinois Get Down Basketball Showcase. The invitational tourney is the brainchild of his classmate and friend Dan Cross, who is well respected in the basketball community not only as a player but as a community leader, entrepreneur, and coach. Keith mentored for four years under Dan’s father, gospel recording artist and pastor Daniel C. Cross, Sr. while attending CCHS.
